2HA Vineyard and Winery

2HA is a boutique winery and vineyard in the Badacsony wine region. It all started with a 2 hectare plot on the slopes of the unique St. George Hill located on the northern side of Lake Balaton. Today the winery farms 4 hectares of vines. The modest size of the vineyards enables us to lavish the vines with special care and individual treatment, and under these circumstances grapes can reach their full potential.

We are convinced that these plots are qualified for the highest quality. Our aim is simple: we want to create the best wines possible whatever it takes. Showing the potential of the terroir, characterized by rich volcanic soils, is our main goal.

According to our philosophy, it’s not the present that matters but the never ending journey.
Our wines are aged exclusively in barrels and most of them are fermented in wood as well. As for natural winemaking, we are determined to avoid any vinification techniques that may damage the original aromas of the wine. We do not fine or filter any of our wines, not even the whites. The date for bottling is chosen according to the moon calendar. The vineyards have all been cultivated organically for the last 12 years.
