Tabunello, 2018

A spontaneously fermented, unfiltered and unclarified wine. A variety indigenous to Tuscany, it seems to have found a second home on the volcanic slopes of the St. George Hill. 2HA is the first and only producer of the variety in Hungary. It is a late ripening grape, so yields need to be strictly controlled. The amazing terroir of the region helps us to make a wonderfully elegant wine. Tannins are smooth and the fresh cherry and pomegranate notes keep the sweetness of the barrel and the spices of the grape in balance. An excellent match with tomato or truffle dishes but it also works well high quality beef.
