Kékfrankos has a huge potential in the Szekszárd region. It produces wines that are elegant, fruity with a great acidity. Flavors of blueberries, blackberries combined with a hint of white pepper and eucalypt notes. Jani’s Kékfrankos is a perfect example!
It was aged in big old Hungarian barrels, focusing on the fruit characters of the variety. It has a potential to age. Be cautions it is not easy to stop at one glass. Great wine with duck, tomato dishes or mushroom focused plates.
